Summer 2023 Batch

Roforco is accepting applications from studios for the Summer 2023 funding cycle. It will take place from June–August 2023. The batch will be remote.

You can join at any stage
Whether you’re starting from scratch without an idea or your game is already released, we welcome you to join our accelerator program.
You don’t need a pitch or a plan
You don’t need a pitch, plan or even an idea to apply. We will give you a small initial amount of funding to prototype in stage 1.
You don’t need to be 18.
Applicants can apply under the age of 18 however require a guardian to co-sign on their agreement.
What do we look for?
Our main focus is on identifying talented developers and promising ideas, which is why we have no strict criteria and provide equal opportunities to all. Nevertheless, we tend to seek out certain factors, such as:

Highly motivated and committed individuals. Able to work full-time for 3 months.

Existing teams or developers who have worked together before.

Application process
There are 3 main stages in the application process, we will contact you after each stage to let you know next steps.
Initial short application form
This is a short form that takes around 10 – 30 minutes to fill and is designed to gather basic information about you and your team/studio while only touching slightly on the game itself.
Extended Application & 1 min Video
This stage consists of a 1-minute video in which the founders introduce themselves and the game. There’s also an extended application that takes approximately 40 minutes to complete.
Interview
The final stage is a quick 30 min video call where the founding developers will be asked in depth questions regarding their application and game.
